Judging Teachers
His first mistake was keeping sexually explicit material on a publicly accessible website. ================================ Not true. The portion of his website that had the jokes was not open to the public and Judge Kozinski did not know it could be hacked, which is how it was accessed.— December 12, 2008 12:42 p.m.
San Diego prison bureaucracies deny basic medical care
This case is still in court being litigated (it is a very well known case) and I have a feeling when it is over there will be a judgment in the 8 figure range-and there will be no accountability in governent, zero, none, nada, for those responsible.— December 12, 2008 12:38 p.m.
Orgazmo
I saw this movie on VH-1 a couple weeks ago and thought it was hilarious.— December 12, 2008 9:09 a.m.
Quantum of Solace
Have not seen Q of S, but Casino Royale was IMHO the best James Bond movie ever-beats Goldfinger, For Your Eyes Only and The Living Daylights.— December 12, 2008 9:08 a.m.
DeMaio Brings Rochambeau-Style Reforms to City Council
concernedcitizen77 = is now Bono. Nice to know a member of a super rock group.— December 12, 2008 9:06 a.m.
Dems and GOP fail to be frugal
In other news, the pension bill will go DOWN for the City of San Diego next fiscal year, dropping from $161 million to $154 million. By JF 9:52 p.m., Dec 11, 2008 ============================ Oh brother-JF with a whopper so big his nose just grew 40 feet. JF, the pension bill is going sky high, not going down. It is just being underfunded. It is in the hole $5 billion, with a 50-60% funding level. The notion that the contribution is going down is perposterous.— December 12, 2008 9:04 a.m.
Goldsmith Continues Cheap Shots on City Website. He Criticizes Predecessor for Politicizing Office, Then Politicizes It Even More
concernedcitizen77 = Government employee welfare queen. BTW-although some of your "ideas" hold water most don't. The Quaalcom naming rights deal was ABOVE MARKET rate when it was entered into in 1997-a 20 year deal (more than half way through now). 18 MILLION!! was the going rate back then for naming rights-but paying it ALL UPFRONT was not, so by paying upfront the deal was far above market.— December 12, 2008 8:47 a.m.
Gardner Gets 8 Years for Peregrine Scam; His Lawyer Says Criminal Activity Going on Before Gardner Got There
I would love to mob Moores, and take some of my taxpayer frustration out on his nose (with my fist).— December 12, 2008 8:43 a.m.
Hedge Fund in Which SDCERA Has Money Puts up Barriers to Redemptions
White says it has gotten back $90 million of the Amaranth losses and is attempting to recover the rest through a lawsuit filed in New York. =========================== LOL... yeah, sure they will get their money back from a lawsuit-because Amaranth is just over flowing with cash right now and the road to their office which has a "for lease" sign on it is paved with gold. Government has some of the biggest morons in the world working for it. Next thing you're going to be telling that the Einsteins in Gov. will be appointing a "Car Czar" to workout Detroits problems and that Henry "Hank" Paulson has more brain power than a first semeter Econ major at SDSU.— December 10, 2008 10:06 p.m.
Goldsmith Continues Cheap Shots on City Website. He Criticizes Predecessor for Politicizing Office, Then Politicizes It Even More
While Mr. Goldsmith may not have demonstrated the best interpersonal skills, I think we should give him some time to settle in before writing him off so quickly. =========== Sorry, I knew all I need to know about Squirrel Head months ago. He will be Casey Gwinn the second.— December 10, 2008 9:56 p.m.
