Power Outage Cost Local Economy $100 Million
Erica F.: Let's do it again! All my neighbors were out checking on each other and making sure to share flashlights, batteries, candles, etc., swimming in the pool, grilling food to share, offering drinks to share, I met tons of new people that live in my complex, I read a book halfway through and didn't work on my computer from home; it was so much fun! Let's all get "unplugged" at least once a week. Thanks Homer! ;)— September 13, 2011 9:53 a.m.
Power Outage Cost Local Economy $100 Million
Thom H.: Overall the local economy may have suffered, but there's a few mom n' pop grocery/liquor stores I frequent that had a really good night. :)— September 13, 2011 9:53 a.m.
Despicable Diners
Kim F.: I have never understood being rude to someone who is bringing you food. Food that is prepared in areas you can't see. Besides the humanity aspect of being an ass to someone simply doing their job, it would seem you are messing with them at your own peril.— September 13, 2011 9:52 a.m.
Despicable Diners
Bob L.: I feel same way. I have worked in the service industry, and can tell you that one has to be able to recognize the type of individual that will take out all their personal problems on their wait staff. Once recognized, that individual receives treatment curtailed to the way they are behaving... if you take my meaning. Would like to say that it's nice to see someone in the same party as this type individual that catches the eye with an apologetic smile or glance. It makes a difference.— September 13, 2011 9:52 a.m.
Catholic Priest Writes Book on Ministering to Gays
Jarin U.: Hmm according to a quick Google search there were a bunch of gay saints— September 7, 2011 10:49 a.m.

El Zarape Is No El Zarape
Jeff L.: You've said a mouthful! I can't put my finger on it but Park Blvd=Good, Adams Ave=Not going to go there.— September 6, 2011 12:25 p.m.
El Zarape Is No El Zarape
Victor C.: I agree it wasn't worth it for the money. The original, on the other hand, has never let me down. The shrimp quesadilla is to die for!!— September 6, 2011 12:24 p.m.
Little Lady Flask
Steven wrote: "I like your style. Ive heard of stories when a flask has saved the life of its owner by stopping stray bullets. God forbid of course, however, completely admirable and respectable I too have one of pure silver and love it."— September 5, 2011 12:22 p.m.
