It's not over. Chargers given time to woo San Diego
At the very least, let's hope the Spanos cartel fired Fabiani by now. Now that would be divine justice (at least for a few days).— January 12, 2016 11:25 p.m.
It's not over. Chargers given time to woo San Diego
No! GO! So we don't get more rhetoric and threats by the Spanos empire and Chargers holding our city hostage? And then our so called elected leaders will be maneuvering all over the $idelines to make deals. Then the so-called independent news media will be cramming some new deal down our throats. This is the time to file divorce from the Chargers. The Spanos' can go grow Greek olives in the hills, and stop harassing us each day with their mobster-like lawyer. They demonstrated little loyalty to Chargers fans, so now is the time to cut our losses (emotionally and financially).— January 12, 2016 10:57 p.m.
San Diego won’t be any more affordable next year
But Don, you cannot be reporting on the realities of our economy, nor should you be so pragmatic. You need to put your rose colored glasses on, and $ell all of us the Kool-Aid that the economy of San Diego will cease to exist, if the Chargers leave San Diego. :o) Wait, I forgot, you work for the San Diego Reader, not SDUT, UT, Sign-On Charger Diego, or whatever their last name change was.— December 31, 2015 5:07 p.m.
Fabiani goes to work for casino billionaire
Yes Don, well said! Football is our modern Bread & Circus for the masses. Take care and Happy New Year to you Don!— December 29, 2015 11:15 a.m.
Fabiani goes to work for casino billionaire
Hi Don, thanks for the information. Q: What do you get when you mix a pro football owner's (corp. mobster) lawyer, with a casino (corp. mobster) lawyer? A: I don't know but know the entity is in our nightmares.— December 26, 2015 11:13 p.m.
Ace Parking gets the contract again?
Scott Jones and top officers at Ace, should be investigating along with all the politicos they are in cahoots with.— December 26, 2015 11:08 p.m.
La Costa developer Merv Adelson dead at 85
Thanks Don. And thank you for a great article you authored!— September 13, 2015 8:26 p.m.
Saint Archer sold to MillerCoors and the world didn't end
The money offered to $ell must exceed the love for making beer.— September 12, 2015 11:51 a.m.
La Costa developer Merv Adelson dead at 85
And most people would not know that right here in San Diego resides a gent who is known as the banker to the mob (or at one time, but things likely stay the same). Membership has its privileges.— September 12, 2015 11:50 a.m.
Divorce of a billionaire (cont'd)
Money can sure put out the fires that lack of money seems to bring, but I am sure I don't have the same issues as many of the super-wealthy. And, I don't need to fund an army of lawyers and their minions who thrive (billable hours) off the drama and quest for control or more.— September 7, 2015 4:43 p.m.
