One year to replace Clairemont grocery store
Think positive, it could have been a Dollar Tree opening there. Sprouts is great!— September 7, 2016 11:25 p.m.
Never mind Bullock’s — Target is the future of dying malls
Hi Don, I agree, my statement was mostly an sarcastic exaggeration full of pessimism about our economy and future. Though I do admit you can save some good money at 99 Cents Store on some name brand items, just ask my cat. :o)— July 29, 2016 3:56 p.m.
Never mind Bullock’s — Target is the future of dying malls
Great article Don (as usual)!! I believe Target might be too pricey for the future Mass-Class, think Dollar Trees and 99 Cents Stores going where the Targets fail.— July 28, 2016 7:57 p.m.
Off-duty El Cajon cop kills beer thief in Santee
Few understand those protecting and serving. Having said that, I am very sorry for the loss of your son. Very tragic circumstances for all involved.— July 2, 2016 3:49 p.m.
Off-duty El Cajon cop kills beer thief in Santee
Very well said! Most people have no idea what is like to be a cop and enforce laws or take risks. Our morals have been distorted when news media (like the author of this hit piece on Officer Webb, attempt to make bad as good, and good as bad.— July 2, 2016 3:40 p.m.
Can Bruce Henderson be detained at Guantanamo until this is all over?
Interesting how over the decades, San Diego broadcast news media ran smear campaign against Bruce Henderson. And I would not be surprised in the latest (last) attempt to shove a new stadium down taxpayers throats, the Spanos Cartel will put a hit contract out on Henderson and anyone else who rises up to oppose the construction bulldozers. Our local politicians are in cahoots with the profiteers of a new $tadium deal, and anyone who opposes it is called "anti-progress."— February 11, 2016 11:49 a.m.
Dean Spanos's new hired hand
True Don, the only saving dynamic (sadly) is if another great recession (or worse) rolls-up on our local economy at a rapid pace, and then we will have our city leaders saying they don't know if the budget will allow to keep fire stations open. Then the new Spanos Stadium scam will be tabled. Take care!— February 10, 2016 7:30 p.m.
Dean Spanos's new hired hand
I woke-up in early 2016 to the nightmare that the Chargers stayed, and we have to go through all this new fear mongering by most the news services (so called broadcast journalists) to program San Diegans into that MEME that we are so lucky to have saved the Chargers from leaving, that now we must get on-board with a new stadium deal. Don, thanks for staying on-top of this on-going fiasco of the Chargers and politicos that have the RE developers and others, in their pockets.— February 10, 2016 6:12 p.m.
It's not over. Chargers given time to woo San Diego
Hi Don, did you ever view the movie The Devil's Advocate? If not, I recommend it. Fabiani is in there somewhere. Take care Don!— January 13, 2016 9:13 p.m.
Let the Chargers leave for logical reasons
If they don't leave, we can always get a restraining order against them, then evict them from Qualcomm. The Chargers are like Herpes, and they've infected many of politicians and potential profiteers over dying prospects of building a new stadium.— January 13, 2016 12:10 p.m.
