San Diego tourism weakens
Response to post #13: You’re right as always Don, the San Diego judicial system is a cesspool that has no drain. Too bad larceny against taxpayers isn’t considered a crime by San Diego judges who are participating in the larceny or the jail would be full of politicians and judges like Sanders and Goldsmith and Dumanis who should be time-sharing one giant cell with Duke and Murphy at the Pt. Loma Sewage Treatment Plant.— October 24, 2008 1:06 a.m.
City Pension Portfolio Plunges Below $4 Billion; That's Lower Than Level of Mid-2006
Response to post #10: This whole local and national political-economic scenario is looking more and more like an old Barnum & Bailey Freak Show. Nationally the sideshow features Bush + McCain + Palin + Paulson running amuck like deranged inmates in a nuthouse with not one brain among them. While locally we have the U-T Freak Show featuring the U-T Editorial Board’s Kittle as the demented Jesse James with a pile of strings in his claws tied to Sanders + Goldsmith + Dumanis and other inmates demonically sacking taxpayer funds while pouring fuel on the fires.— October 24, 2008 12:56 a.m.
San Diego tourism weakens
Response to post #3: The economy has been so overwhelmed by corruption of both political parties that the only thing we can do to begin recovery is to start putting judges in jail for selling out American justice and betraying American Democracy. For San Diego, Murphy should be first in line to lead the way, it will be Murphy's first act of true leadership. Up until now responsibility and accountability have been overruled by corruption and hate.— October 23, 2008 1:02 p.m.
City Pension Portfolio Plunges Below $4 Billion; That's Lower Than Level of Mid-2006
Response to post #4: Damn, you're right as usual. OK, how about putting them all in Fox Hell, making a new level of Dante's hell and damnation just for republican politicians and judges :)— October 23, 2008 12:15 p.m.
City Pension Portfolio Plunges Below $4 Billion; That's Lower Than Level of Mid-2006
Response to post #2: It's hopeless, our U-T Establishment Puppet-Mayor Sanders is not only corrupt but he is criminally negligent, and his out of control failures in leadership are BKing San Diego just like Bush-McCain-Republican Party is BKing the American economy. If every republican politician in America isn't kicked out of office America shall most certainly go into Depression due to their politics of corruption and hate that have been destroying the American Way of Life, Economy and Opportunities for eight years. We fought and won against fascism and communism, but republicanism is turning out to be the greatest threat against America in our history.— October 23, 2008 1:09 a.m.
San Diego tourism weakens
Don, the fact is that everything wrong in San Diego today started with U-T Mayor Susan Golding, going out of control with U-T Mayors Murphy and Sanders as proven by the firestorms their failures in leadership caused to go out of control. However the key fact is everything that is wrong in America today went out of control during the last eight years of GOP Bush White House, but their politics of hate go back to the Nixon White House. Thus the U-T Rantitorials and judicial corruption against Aguirre, and the McCain-Palin campaign, have certified the most successful GOP Motto in American History: Hate Politics and Corrupt Judges “R” Us— October 22, 2008 12:14 p.m.
Good News: SDCERS Discussing Lowering Interest Rate on DROP Account
Response to post #3: Agreed. I have nothing against the employees at all, as far as I can tell they are as dedicated as any government employees in America. As always, it is the political leadership that has failed San Diego and America.— October 21, 2008 2:09 p.m.
Good News: SDCERS Discussing Lowering Interest Rate on DROP Account
This is just one more proof that Republican mayors have betrayed and bankrupt San Diego, causing public safety threats that are increasingly out of control and infrastructure that is falling apart all around us. It's like the GOP is a terrorist organization in San Diego and Washington, while their corrupt judges like Goldsmith in San Diego and the Supreme Court are accelerating the destruction of the American Way of Life as documented by former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. So the economy continues to tank as millions of taxpayer jobs are sent to Communist China as long as republicans are allowed to continue to attack San Diego and America. All the bin Laden has to do is sit back and watch his GOP terrorists do his work for him.— October 21, 2008 12:52 p.m.
Ben Bernanke, Henry Paulson prepare for bank bailout
Response to post #52: The Obama vs. McCain polls are way too close for comfort, especially considering the margins of error. There is also the increasingly important factor of advanced voting allowed in many states now where allowing increasing in numbers of voters to make a difference well before the actual election day, like mail-in ballots in California that we have already received and that many have already filled out. Never forget that the “modern” republican hate campaigns have a history of success back to Nixon vs. Helen Gahagan Douglas communist telephone smear campaign in the 50s. Obama had better be aware that republican hate campaigns have over a half century track record of success so Obama had better finish making his points early, like last week because the McCain-Palin campaign is rolling right along on the well oiled wheels of corruption + hate Nixonian politics.— October 20, 2008 1:22 a.m.
Ben Bernanke, Henry Paulson prepare for bank bailout
Response to post #50: "--- refuses to do anything to relieve the economic burdens, and he is bitterly critical of the one person trying to do something ---" Actually this is the republican propaganda line for Sanders, Goldsmith and McCain-Palin. All they can resort to is corruption and hate, and yellow journalists at U-T, Fox, WSJ and other Neocon party sycophants are more than willing to sell out America to perpetuate their betrayals of American Democracy and the American Way of Life. Unfortunately it has worked for the republicans for far too many decades, and they are continuing as if it will continue to work for them forever. Sanders proved that in the last election, Goldsmith and McCain-Palin are doing it in this election.— October 19, 2008 2:15 p.m.
