Response to post #16: Keep trying harder Don, we need a "newspaper" that will Fight Back against the evils of the U-T establishment that still rule San Diego until an informed electorate drives them from our ballots forever. One may ask what I mean by evil, evil in San Diego is corrupt politicians created by the U-T + corrupt judges + corrupt ruling establishment + corrupt U-T Editorial Board, evil that Don Bauder columns expose continuously. The consequences of these forces of evil are far too many deaths and far too much property destroyed. What defines too many and too much? Former Chief Bowman has informed us that the 2007 firestorms were excessive because recommendations he and others made after the 2003 firestorms for more resources were overruled by the U-T establishment. So Chief Bowman was forced to resign and the excesses of the 2007 firestorm occurred. Thus excessive deaths and destruction are evils created by the U-T establishment that stole taxpayer money and used it for their own wealth and power accumulation instead of preventing hellaciously excessive loss of lives and property that occurred again in 2007. And San Diego shall never truly have a Happy New Year until the era of the U-T establishment is ended.— December 31, 2007 4:52 a.m.

Response to post #8: Don, Wagner didn’t even come close to achieving the musical greatness of Beethoven. And Beethoven dared to support the principles of democracy at a time when direct political action on behalf of such principles was difficult and dangerous. Back to the U-T Editorial Board, I am positive that Goebbels and Streicher smile up through the fires of hell every morning they publish another deranged rant against Aguirre. The Dur Sturmer manual of style is perpetuated by the U-T Editorial Board with their rants which are a continuation of the era of Copley-La Jolla Gentleman’s Agreement hate and exclusion that lasted decades after the end of the Holocaust. But I shall accept your point that they may not have achieved the level to be called Nazis, I’ll leave that characterization to people who suffered from such intolerable evil to validate that point.— December 30, 2007 10:32 a.m.

Response to post #7: With all due respect to The Reader which I hold in high regard because of your columns Don, I really don’t think the Internet engages people anywhere near as intellectually as a great newspaper, yet. I obviously use Internet, and love to Google to research greater depth of information on subjects I frequently become curious about, but reading and being intellectually engaged by a group of very good to great newspaper columnists everyday is an experience that has not been even close to being achieved by the Internet, yet. However, since you have challenged me on this point, once again I request that The Reader take a much greater role in informing and motivating your most important young readership to participate in the decision making process that is defining their future whether they like it or not without their participation today, and the results to date are disastrous. One great failure of generations that preceded them, including our generation, is that we failed to be engaged in the decision making process enough, and the consequences of that failure are totally unacceptable. So I challenge The Reader to represent We The People in a way the Fourth Estate was intended to do by our Founders and the U.S. Constitution, including protection of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" in San Diego once again.— December 30, 2007 10:03 a.m.

Two defining U-T editorial board traditions are their Gentleman’s Agreement era culture of hate that still motivates them to attack those who dare to challenge their culture today, and their Greer-Murphy-Sanders-Dumanis puppetician corruption that just keeps getting worse with the latest pyrrhic consequences of firestorm deaths and destruction appear to be taking their toll at the U-T. I bet the U-T editorial board starts every meeting with their favorite Wagnerian reich music Die Walküre while watching reruns of pyrrhic consequences that have resulted from their corruption, hate and blitz culture to inspire them to conjure their daily incantation rants against Aguirre. Response to post #21: The U-T has dishonored American morals and ethics, which explains why “deliver us from evil” is still a most important part of one of our greatest prayers. The tragedy is that too many San Diegans die, too many have their property destroyed, too many lose their hard earned money to U-T establishment larceny, while increasing numbers of San Diego families are threatened by out of control corruption and hate by the U-T establishment. This proves is that Thomas Jefferson is still right about: “mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” That condition produced the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and it’s time for another revolution today at the ballot box now that we have it to boot all U-T “Ballot Recommendations puppeticians like Dumanis and Sanders out of office.— December 29, 2007 3:48 a.m.
