Sauteed Oysters served on toast crackers
Ingredients
- 24 whole oyster meat
- 3 tbls clarified butter
- 1 tbl shredded fresh basil
- 4 dashs green Tabasco sauce
- 24 mela toast wafers
- 2 tbls parmesean cheese
- 1 tbl fresh parsley
Instructions
Saute the oysters (shucked) in clarified butter along with fresh shredded basil and Tabasco sauce for 5-7 minutes. spoon one oyster along with drippings onto one piece of mela wafer or similar toast cracker. Sprinkle cheese on top and broil 2-3 minutes. Top with parsley and serve immediately.
