Who doesn't remember lapping up Creamsicle bars during the dog days of childhood summers? Here's an adult version spiffed up with divine fudge topping.
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate graham cracker pie crust
- 1.5 cups chocolate fudge ice cream topping
- 3 cups orange sherbert
- 2.5 cups vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Spoon half of the chocolate fudge topping into the bottom of the pie crust and put in the freezer while you prepare the next step.
In a bowl beat together the orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream. Try not to mix completely, let there be streaks of orange and white throughout. Spoon mixture into the pie shell. Smooth with a spatula and top with mini chocolate chips. Freeze until very firm. Remove from freezer 8-10 minutes before serving.
