Number "1" Peanut Butter Cookies
Submitted by avaughn18
These are the simplest peanut butter cookie recipe. It's easy to remember (1 cup, 1 cup, 1 egg) and quick to whip up a batch with only three ingredients. Variations can fancy them right up! Add chocolate chips or peanut butter chips. Use crunchy peanut butter. Or drop a chocolate kiss in the middle of each one.
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar (granulated)
- 1 egg
1) Preheat over to 350 degrees.
2) Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until incorporated.
3) Drop by tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Take the back of a fork and make criss-cross marks on the tops of cookies to flatten them down so they will bake evenly. Sprinkle sugar on the tops of the cookies.
4) Bake for 8-12 minutes. Cool on pan for 5 minutes and continue to cool on wire rack until cool.
