Right outside Petco Park’s main eastern gates sits the Tilted Kilt. The Kilt’s all about their gals (and guys) wearing Scottish kilts, but edited a little, and tartan tops, edited a lot. Also about food, for all the thousands who righteously refuse to pay blackmail rates for food inside the ballpark. Happy hour, when it happens, gives you things like sliders for $5, wings for $7, bowl of spinach dip for $5. More than 30 draft and bottled beers.

After stepping out of The Padres game early, we stopped in to "The Kilt" for just a quick beer to finish watching the game - not my usual establishment, but with a lively crowd and friends a beer wasn't so bad...
The staff is very talented and the wings are good. Beer is cheaper than in the ballpark, and a nice selection. Cheers !
