Just too small, and outrageous prices on very plain food. There is hardly ever any seating, $5 for a bottle of beer, and the same rice and steamed veggies with every dish. If I wasnt close friends with the bartender and the band, I would never go back. $9.50 for a Mojito? $7.50 for Sangria? I know this place is on the 101 but come on! And their new venture, the Calypso Fish house, is terrible as well. Save your money...

I have to agree with the poster above. But, I do love seeing Jack Tempchin play there. He's a local legend (he wrote a few Eagles tunes, including "Peaceful Easy Feeling")

Too many people live in the 80's and 90's. Paying $4.50 for a sangria is like paying $400K for a house in Encinitas. You pay $5 for a carne asada burrito (a whole meal) at Roberto's. And alcohol always costs more than food. So 7.50 is not out of this world. This place is great for a high-energy ambience, especially for weeknights. Good for socializing & dates - you won't get any awkward silence, that's for sure!! I gave the food a "7" only because they often run out of stuff, so get there earlier rather than later!

Have you tried the home made Lobster ravioli here!?! It's amazing! Lobster ravioli in crab sauce, I don't know how life can get better than that. And at $22.95, you get your money's worth. Service needs to be better, and they ran out of ice cream for our dessert so one of the workers had to run out to get it while we waited ages for our dessert to be ready. Ambiance is very chill, they have live music and comedy night sometimes. You will never be disappointed with the lobster ravioli though!
