The Flower Fields
5704 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92008
The Flower Fields in Carlsbad began in the early 1920s when settler Luther Gage introduced Giant Tecolote Ranunculus seeds to the area, growing them near Frank Frazee's vegetable farm. Over decades, Edwin Frazee developed the Ranunculus hybridization, moving the operation to its current hillside location, eventually turning a commercial bulb farm into a tourist attraction
