Brielle Clark and her bandmate/husband Scott launched Dane Coffee in 2014, after she had secured a cottage license allowing her to roast coffee in her North Park kitchen. They were roasting a pound at a time to provide beans to local retailers, making the occasional coffee beer collaboration, and popping up at a handful of farmers markets. They secured a retail locale in 2020.
