Bully's East
2401 Camino del Rio South, San Diego, CA 92108
Bully's East in Mission Valley is a San Diego institution, and Chef Luis Martinez both respects its steakhouse origin and pushes the boundaries of the menu to bring second and third-generation diners the best versions of the classics while introducing more adventurous tidbits along the way.

Classic 60's/70's...place is in a time warp but the food and people make up for it. Consistently good!
You could do worse
My wife and I went to Bully's East to celebrate Fathers Day on Monday, the day after Fathers Day-I wanted to catch the last round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach on Sunday. Bully's did honor a portion of the $200 gift certificate (purchased on SkyAuction for $90.00) that I tried to redeem. My wife and I went for Dinner and our bill came to $80 and change. I gave them the $200 certificate and the bill was taken of but I was not given credit for the additional $120.00. (No where on the certificate did it state that it(certificate)"must be used in one sitting," but that is what the restaurant personel stated. It did state" NO CASH BACK which was fine with us...we did not want cash back, (but we did want the $120 credit which was not used.) The manager called the owner at home and was told to tell us to bad. The restaurant owner said not to honor the remaining balance. I went in the next day to speak directly with the owner because I "knew that there must be a misunderstanding," but nope, no misunderstanding, he basically said "to bad."
