I am a previous students and here are my thoughts about this school!!!

The Art Institute of California-San Diego, in general, is considered as a vocational institution. With that that said, AICASD DO NOT HAVE A REGIONAL ACCREDITATION that a real university posses, which means that there are possibilities that degree(s) conferred from this institution and/or college credit will NOT be honored if used as a transfer credit to a typical university that holds a regional accreditation. I.E. UCSD, or some employer might not honor it as a real degree.

Along with its inadequacies, the AICASD also is a FOR PROFIT organization, which means it is a very expensive school and with no guarantee that degree received will be beneficial to you (although it depends on how good you are).

In contrast, aside from its inadequacies and the tendency to suck all the money from unsuspecting victims, they do staff fairly good employees. They make sure that everything is handed to you and that your proficient with your chosen discipline upon graduation.

In conclusion, would I do it again, DEFINITELY NOT, I would attend a regular university that focus more on Academia and have the PROPER ACCREDITATION (Regional).

Would I do it again after having a real degree from a regionally accredited institution, yes, but only if i have some money to give away.
