This is an incredibly cheesy excuse for a museum! All it does is promote bronze-age superstition by ignoring all of science. It's a pathetic pack of simple-minded lies doing a huge disservice to our own community and to civilization itself, which has attained its current level of technology thanks to science and reason. Fundamentalist religion is a childish and dangerous thing, where ignorance and violence go hand-in-hand!

As Lewis Black put it, creationists are people who watch The Flintstones as if it were a documentary!

Belief that the earth was created by other then chance or by one celled organism does not believe in the Flintstones are real. Yes, there were parts of the museum that were cheesy I do have to agree with that, but the point they were trying to get across was still there. Simple minded is anything but what we believe. The complexity that exists in this world is what so amazing about our creation.

“Which has attained its current level of technology thanks to science and reason.” Isn’t evolution only a theory too? I don’t believe the museum was trying to discredit science. The belief of how the earth started differs.

“Fundamentalist religion is a childish and dangerous thing, where ignorance and violence go hand-in-hand!” Yes, some fundamentalist religions can give any religion a bad impression just as some evolutionist or atheist give bad impressions. We are ALL only human, make mistakes and hold some faulty characteristics.

Gina, I understand your point. However, understanding why a theory is not the same as a scientific theory is crucial to see why creationism is incompatible with evolution. A scientific theory reaches a conclusion based on a compilation of provable data.A regular theory is merely a WAG. And both may be debatable.
