Sempra’s other major subsidiary, San Diego Gas & Electric, was romancing Palomar College, bestowing its so-called Excellence in Energy Leadership Award on the school for its “Maintenance & Operations building, a ‘net-zero’ project that opened in April 2019,” says a February 4, 2021 post on the school’s website.
