Baseball! We’re big Padres fans. Opening day is definitely the best. We have a blast. We drive down a few times a year for games. We’ve only made it to one game so far this year, though — opening day.

Football — the Super Bowl. I love the Green Bay Packers. I grew up in Wisconsin, and my dad was a big fan. It’s in the blood. I’ve gone to a couple of games; I actually was at my first Lambeau Field game three years ago, and it was just, like…I had goose bumps everywhere! You could hear the angels singing above. It was my golden moment.

I love the Super Bowl. I could care less about watching the rest of the season. Super Bowl parties are obnoxious, ridiculous. Working at a bar on Super Bowl Sunday, you’re really getting to see a different color of people, for sure. Sports fans are insane; they are nuts. I always try to work on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s ideal people-watching. It’s not about the game; it’s about everyone else around me.

Probably the World Longboarding Championships. Wherever longboarding’s going on — if it’s women’s — I’ll check it out. It’s fun. I have a friend that rides, Kelly Nicely. She rides longboard. I ride too. I think it’s a fun sport, so I’ll just go check it out. It’s just a random thing.

Oh, gosh, there’s too many, but my favorite would probably be the Chargers games, for sure. We go at least once a year, hopefully two or three times a year. Any game is good; it usually just comes down to schedule and which one works best. We always try to get a whole bunch of people together, and that always makes it fun. We’re down there at 8 o’clock in the morning barbecuing carne asada. That seems to be the good-luck charm.

So far this year it’s been the World Cup, absolutely. I was rooting for the U.S.A. but they’re out now, so now I’m actually following Germany a lot. I liked Mexico also, but then Argentina beat ’em so now I’m watching Germany. I don’t play soccer, but my kids and my brother play. My daughter’s played for five years, my son for two years. They play through AYSO in North Park, Balboa Park. We watch it together.
