I’m glad I had her when I was young. I don’t have the energy for it now. I had her when I was 20. It’s a handful. You gotta have energy to raise kids!

To have a sense of humor. They do some things and say some things that make you wonder, but if you laugh at it then everything’s ok. You just have to have a sense of humor and take it as it comes.

That they have their own voice and their own way of wanting to act out. As moms we always want to be portrayed as “a good mom,” but in reality they’re their own little person and their own little being, and it’s challenging. It’s interesting to find out their personalities.
