For over 20 years, Rob Garza and Eric Hilton have been expanding the dancefloor boundaries of EDM as Thievery Corporation. Though early efforts were paint-by-number exercises in straight dub and acid jazz, their evolution toward stadium spinning has been fueled by melding world music into their jams, particularly Middle-Eastern, Latin, and Indian sounds. Since the breakthrough release that landed them a worldwide audience, 2005’s The Cosmic Game, it’s not uncommon to find multiple languages represented on any given album, from Spanish and Italian to French, Portuguese, Romanian, Persian, and even Hindi. The band’s political and social stances are trotted out and propped up from time to time, as in “History” where Boston rapper Mr Lif complains about how “I can’t look at a cop without second-guessing.” The duo recently re-released their sixth studio album Culture Of Fear as a 15th Anniversary edition, and they’re currently on their 30th Anniversary Tour.

South Korean indie rock band Wave To Earth is known for their dreamy blend of lo-fi indie pop, surf rock, jazz-inspired percussion and drumming, and English-language songwriting. They create warm, melancholic, and atmospheric soundscapes with cinematic flourishes on tracks such as “light,” from their debut EP, which earned them early underground traction. They went viral on TikTok in 2020 with "seasons" from their album 0.1 Flaws and All, which surpassed 500 million streams, and their single "bad," which climbed to number one on Spotify's Viral 50 Global Chart. Promoting their work as "All Self-Made," members Daniel Kim (vocals, guitar), Cha Soon-jong (bass), and Shin Dong-gyu (drums) handle their own recording, mixing, mastering, visual art, and direct all of the band’s music videos. They have become one of the most-streamed South Korean indie acts globally, selling out major tours across North America, Europe, and Asia, and performing at major international festivals like Lollapalooza.

Pierce the Veil was founded by singer/guitarist/songwriter Vic Fuentes and his drummer brother Mike, both former Mission Bay High School students who previously played with Early Times and Before Today. Their debut album Flair for the Dramatic - recorded in Seattle and in the studio that their parents had built for them in their home near Mission Bay - came out in summer 2007, during which the band took part in that year's Warped tour. In 2010, their album Selfish Machines debuted at number one on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, and they toured that summer again with the Warped Tour, as the proggy metal band’s album racked up over 700,000 downloads. 2012’s Collide With the Sky became their biggest selling album, going gold and selling over 500,000 copies, while their fourth studio album from 2016, Misadventures, entered the Billboard Top 200 Chart at number four. Their most recent full-length, The Jaws of Life, dropped in 2023. This final date of the tour will be Pierce The Veil's only mainland U.S. headline appearance of the year.
