Squid Pisser
Squid Pisser is the masked brainchild of Tommy Meehan (from Cancer Christ and “Grodius Maximus” in GWAR) and Starcrawler drummer Seth Carolina, currently augmented by Michael Armendariz of experimental L.A. metal band Melted Bodies and Barstow post-hardcore and mathcore group Duck Duck Goose. As Squid Pisser, the trio blends hardcore punk with grindcore and avant-garde noise rock. With a sound characterized by chaotic riffs and industrial textures, songs are built around distorted vocals and controlled guitar feedback that is nearly weaponized in its aggression. Albums such as My Tadpole Legion and their newest release, Dreams of Puke, are clearly drawn from the same horror comic book template established by GWAR, with purposefully gross and colorfully nightmarish imagery to accompany the unrelenting soundscape. Among their collaborators are members of San Diego-centric noisemakers Deaf Club, as well as other labelmates from Three One G Records, which has made a specialty of marketing bands who sound like bees living in your head. On the road as a five-piece, Squid Pisser’s Internal Violence Tour kicked off June 18 in Las Vegas and wraps July 2 in Little Italy at the Casbah, on a bill that includes Gayt, an L.A. math-rock duo featuring Kyle Schlenker (of screamo band Vs Self) and drummer Christopher Patrick Gregory (Belted Sweater).

Rosalía
Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía is known for merging traditional flamenco music with the sounds and production values of contemporary pop, R&B, EDM music, and neoperreo, an underground reggaeton subgenre that blends classic dembow rhythms with darker electronic club music. She has won numerous Latin Grammy Awards for albums such as El Mal Querer and Motomami, and earned international attention for viral hits like the Latin Grammy-winning “Malamente” and her collaboration with J Balvin, “Con Altura.” Rosalía’s 57-date all-arena Lux Tour 2026 supports her fourth studio album Lux with a theatrical maximalist/brutalist stage design and a production that includes a spontaneous gothic “confessional booth” segment, where Rosalía often introduces surprise guests before performing “La Perla.” Setlists have so far been blending previous hits like the flamenco-flavored track “El Redentor” with new material such as the current album’s lead single “Berghain” (featuring Icelandic star Bjork and experimental musician Yves Tumor) and “Sexo, Violencia y Llantas,” which somewhat abandons her usual pop/EDM approach for an operatic and classical symphonic arrangement.

Meduza
Italian house music production trio Meduza (Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale, and Simone Giani) earned global attention by melding underground club sounds into contemporary “commercial house” mixes friendly to mainstream radio. Their hit “Piece Of Your Heart” (featuring Goodboys) scored a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, and they’ve amassed billions of streams with hits such as “Lose Control” (with British singer-songwriter Becky Hill) and “Paradise,” which sported vocals by Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy and earned over 750 million streams. Their track “Fire,” which was named the official anthem for the 2024 UEFA EURO Tournament, teams them with German singer Leony and U.S. pop-rock band OneRepublic. More collaborations with other acts include “Another World” (featuring British EDM singer Hayla), “You Gonna Want Me (I Know)” (with Canadian DJ-producer Tiga), “Phone” (with Sam Tompkins and Em Beihold), and their recent single “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” which includes vocals by Henry Camamile of the UK indie rock band Sea Girls. Their new track “Silence” is a collaboration with Dutch singer Rani.
