He’s known for his upbeat songs which blend his influences of pop, hip-hop, R&B, country, punk, adult contemporary, and other musical stylings. The first track he cut in Nashville, “Tennesee Love Song,” became a viral hit in 2023, leading to a remix featuring country singer Chase Matthew. Chris Brown became a teen idol with his 2005 self-titled debut, going on to land several chart-topping singles such as “Run It!,” “Kiss Kiss,” “Forever,” and “With You.” He earned a Grammy Award and has received numerous other accolades, including American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and BET Awards. Considered a triple threat in the entertainment industry for his skills in singing, dancing, and acting, he’s on the comeback trail after a dip in popularity and support from being accused of physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, which led to legal issues and a tarnished public image. Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Tour celebrates 20 years in the music business, with opening acts Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller.
