Bass Drum Of Death
Bass Drum Of Death began as guitarist John Barrett’s one-man lo-fi garage punk project in Oxford, Mississippi. After developing a sound heavy on bluesy riffs, fuzzed-out guitars, pop-influenced hooks, and energetic raw rock, a 2011 album called GB City put the band on the national radar. Their music has earned placement in various video games such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Sunset Overdrive, MLB 2K12, and multiple versions of Forza Horizon. Films like Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Fist Fight have used their songs, as have TV shows including 9-1-1, Altered Carbon, and The Vampire Diaries. They’re touring in support of their sixth full-length release Six, which dropped in September. The bill includes Gus Baldwin and The Sketch.

Badbadnotgood
Founded in 2010 in Toronto, Canada, Badbadnotgood blends jazz and hip-hop, resulting in what could be called instrumental hip-hop, or jazz rap. Initially gaining recognition for their jazz-infused covers of hip-hop instrumentals, they also incorporate jazz fusion, nu jazz, soul, funk, and experimental music into their sound. Recognized for their distinct production style, they’ve worked with artists like Earl Sweatshirt, Mick Jenkins, and Kali Uchis, and they frequently collaborate with other Canadian producers such as Frank Dukes and Kaytranada. They’ve also done extensive collaborations with Daniel Caesar, Kendrick Lamar, Ghostface Killah, and Tyler, The Creator, among others. Their seventh and most recent studio album Mid Spiral was released last year.

Tame Impala
Tame Impala is mainly the work of Australian musician Kevin Parker, the band’s sole songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer. He’s known for his distinctive sound, which blends psychedelic rock, synth-pop, and disco with contemporary production techniques, often characterized by a hazy quality achieved through the use of vintage gear and unconventional recording methods. Tame Impala's popularity has been amplified by viral hits, particularly the song “The Less I Know The Better,” which became a massive hit on online platforms like TikTok. Parker has also collaborated with other artists, including Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd. In concert, he’s backed by a full touring band with large-scale, mind-bending live shows that feature elaborate lighting and visuals to create an immersive experience.
