Barenaked Ladies and Guster
Formed in 1988 in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, Ontario, Barenaked Ladies developed a following in Canada when their self-titled 1991 cassette became the first independent release certified gold in that country. They went on to score catchy pop hits such as “One Week” and “If I Had $1,000,000,” as well as providing the theme for the TV series The Big Bang Theory. The Last Summer On Earth Tour also includes Guster, an alternative rock band formed in 1991 in Somerville, Massachusetts, where founding members were attending Tufts University. They’re touring in support of their ninth studio album and first new LP in more than five years, Ooh La La.

Wu-Tang Clan
Hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan first earned notice in 1993 following the release of their independent single “Protect Ya Neck.” Operating as a business as much as a musical group, they negotiated a record deal with Loud Records that allowed them to sign solo deals with other record labels, taking the Wu-Tang name with them for various projects. The group is calling their current 27-date trek The Final Chamber Tour, after which they say they’ll retire from the road. The show will be opened by Run The Jewels, a hip-hop duo featuring Brooklyn-based rapper and producer El-P and Grammy-winning Atlanta rapper Killer Mike.
