Rock band Counting Crows formed in 1991 in the Bay Area, and the band has since received an Academy Award nomination for the single “Accidentally in Love” and has sold more than 20 million albums. In February 2025, the band put out a new single, “Spaceman in Tulsa," to announce the release date for the upcoming album Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!. The new album, with the four songs from the Suite One EP plus five additional songs, was released in May 2025.

The lineup for Friday includes an underwater photoshoot, an art and lamp show, artisan mug show, dances from the big band era, costume contests, and rum tastings.

River Rescue Community Clean-Up
The River Rescue Team mobilizes to target trash for removal every Saturday, and for this meet-up, they are looking for a few extra hands (no experience necessary) to remove trash and debris from the Mission Valley Preserve. Each year, San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash that would otherwise be left in the wild to pollute our rivers.
