Special farewell concert for vocalist/trombonist Lizzie Trombure will be held at the Reusch House (contact [email protected] for details) with Leonard Patton on cajon and vocals and Peter Sprague on guitar. Patton promises an event to remember. It all starts at 6:00 p.m. for a suggested $15 donation.

Trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos begins his night hosting the Young Lions Series at Croce’s Park West (2760 Fifth Avenue) with this week’s artist, drummer Ryan Shaw starting at 7:00 p.m. $5 cover. Then he’s off to the Jazz Jam Session at Seven Grand (3054 University Avenue) with Joshua White on piano, Rob Thorsen on bass, and Duncan Moore on drums. Downbeat is at 9:00 p.m. 21+, free.
