Sheriff Seeks Supporters

Why is Bill Gore shopping for bras?
Why is Bill Gore shopping for bras?

San Diego County sheriff Bill Gore is looking for more than a few good women’s support garments to bolster the physiques of his (presumably) female prisoners, 2700 per year, to be exact. According to a February 8 request for quotation on a bulk order of “women’s brassieres (bras)” issued by the county’s purchasing department, the wearing apparel must be “Solid white in color”; “First quality only”; have “Two section cups” and “Crisscross support”; be 100 percent nylon with “a minimum of 2 hook and eye closures in back”; be single ply; and contain “no padding.” In addition, “Bra straps shall be sewn at all points and NOT glued anywhere.” Sizes will run from 32A all the way up to 50DD. “Bidder for Lot 1 is required to send [the] County two bra samples for testing, one each of size 34B and 38AA,” the notice says. “Bidder for Lot 2 is required to send [the] County two bra samples for testing, one of each size of 42D and 48DD.” Just who will conduct these tests goes unmentioned, but the samples “will be measured prior to initial washing,” then “washed and dried in three separate cycles.” To pass sheriff’s muster, “Bras must not fray or deform in any way during the testing (including the elastic).”

I didn't know underwear counts as part of the uniform. Wonder weather it's BVD's or briefs for the men?

Bill Gore is all wrong about wearing gold undergarments. With his silvery mane, this Coronado Mansion murder-excusing bungling bad liar looks so much more chic in pale pastels and vibrant neutral colors. I would also advise the Sheriff--who is probably now driving a new Mercedes courtesy of an Arizona Pharmaceutical mogul--to consider perhaps a less showy bra and one that does not contain underwire girding. Since Bill's manboobs are little more than budding pancakes, it is not necessary at this time to prop up a fading facade. Much like Bill's unwise "endorsement" of the desperately declining D.A. who would want to be Mayor but will soon be put out to pasture with Bill, who would now want to reconsider ever running for office here again. Something about a lot of people being mad about how "Whore" Gore sold out poor Rebecca Zahau and threw her grieving family under the bus?
