Life is just one damn dance after another, en route to fulfilling the dream of every healthy young brown-skinned Los Angelino: to visit Puerto Rico. This tribute to Latin music (by a team of Israeli filmmakers) is so light in the head, so soft in the heart, so sentimental, so inarticulate ("You're acting like some big punk macho shit!"), so repetitive, so uneventful, that you are apt to feel that either it or you or the both of you must be a wee bit tipsy. And one of you is apt to get the giggles. With Robby Rosa; directed by Boaz Davidson. (1988) — Duncan Shepherd
