No smoking in the house, if you read a book put it back where you found it, and while you’re at it, take the chance to bang one of the neighbors. Those are but three of the edicts Bruno (Cristián Carvajal) assigns his distant relative Martin (Jorge Becker) after the latter agrees to spend time babysitting their home while the family’s on vacation. Clumsy foreshadowing be damned as one-by-one Martin lights up indoors, jumbles the alphabetization, and — assuming his cousin’s identity — beds a local. (They meet after she covers his missing pet flyer with one of her own.) Martin is 100% jerk, so low that he hits on his cousin (Blanca Lewin). Tolerance for the film will depend on how much Martin you can tolerate before wanting to yell back at the screen. I sat silently amused throughout. Co-written and directed by Cristián Jiménez and Alicia Scherson. (2017) — Scott Marks
