Lisa Kron's comedy-drama splits the stage in half. Why, she asks, do some chronically ill people heal while others never do? Stage right, her invalid mother, Ann -- who somehow cured an entire community -- watches as actors portray scenes from Lisa Kron's life, stage left. But they aren't getting it right. So recliner-ridden Ann, played so naturally by Annie Hinton that all the others are "acting," steps in. The writing sags in spots but it, and the Diversionary production offer many rewards and laughs. Worth a try.
