“Finding treasures where I least expect to and turning them into a representation of who I am makes my clothes all that more special”

Mke Lew's new play, about the result of strict, "tiger style" parenting on Jennifer and Albert, super successful Chinese-American brother and sister, has more laughs than most comedies. His jokes often make telling points about cultural stereotypes and attitudes. But to make some, the play changes key, in act two, and breaks down as many barriers as Jennifer and Albert cannot. Worth a try.
