Two views of romance, a century apart. In "The Little Comedy," bored aristocrats in 1900 Vienna dress down and find each other. But will their love, based on poverty, survive the truth? "Summer Share," set in the Hamptons today, asks if a man and a woman can be best friends without a sexual component? Under Rick Simas's direction and Jill Gorrie's choreography, and accompanied by three backup musicians, the North Coast Rep's performers provide an always entertaining, if slight and undemanding, evening of theater. Lance Arthur Smith, Melissa Wolfklain, Jeffrey Scott Parsons, and Jill Townsend showcase their versatility by acting, singing, and dancing in two periods over 100 years apart.
