R. Buckminster Fuller: The History (and Mystery) of the Universe
R. Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller was so smart he scared the status quo. The Powers labeled him "eccentric." Imagine, however, if his ideas about feeding the world and stable housing for all would have come true. D.W. Jacobs' two act play presents these and many more of Fuller's ideas and inventions. The script hops from one difficult idea to another and runs long. And Ron Campbell's in many ways excellent performance sometimes prefers entertainment to urgency. But Bucky remains one of the most important voices for our time. Note: the Rep has extended the show's run. Worth a try.
