The Miracle Worker
Lamb's Players Theatre's revival of William Gibson's drama tells the familiar story of deaf and blind Helen Keller and her indomitable teacher Anne Sullivan. While the 1959 script can be inelegant, particular in its characterization, the cast and crew at Lamb's have done reasonably well blowing the dust of this chestnut. Its strength lies in the talented Kelsey Venter as the miracle-working teacher, and Lucia Vecchio as Helen. Worth a try.
