The Grossmont College Theatre Arts production of "The Mad Ones," a musical about the coming of age of Samantha Brown, a high school graduate about to leave home for college or points unknown, is set to stream online April 8-17. Directed by Geno Carr, "The Mad Ones" features 18-year-old Samantha -- caught between a yearning for the unknown and feeling bound by expectation -- telescoping back to a time before her world falls apart. The Mad Ones explores the people, experiences and societal expectations that make Sam’s decision extremely difficult, and how she finds the bravery and self-purpose to choose her own path. Even if people might think she’s a little mad (crazy).
