Danai Gurira's big canvas comedy-farce-drama begins with certainty. Donald and Marvelous Chinyarmwira fled from Zimbabwe and became naturalized citizens in 1986. From the looks of things, they have assimilated. Their daughters and Marvelous' older sister think otherwise. Thenuclear family almost nukes, and the play becomesfunnier and funnier. Credit to director Edward Torres and an impressiveOld Globe cast for a strong production, even when the script makes occasional slips.Critic's Pick.
