“Hybrid” writing is becoming part of main stream literature. This lclass will explore unusual, interesting forms of writing–ideal for writers of both poetry and prose. Each week will focus on one experimental form. Craft lessons will introduce each form, and we will read aloud and discuss several examples. Prompts will allow students to practice and experiment with that week’s form, and sharing will be encouraged but not required. Additionally, each class will include opportunities and considerations for publication submission. Classes may be purchased individually or as a group. Ideal for anyone looking for a safe, supportive environment to try on new forms and expand one’s writing.
