The Art of Grant Writing
2730 Historic Decatur Road, Barracks 16 #204, San Diego, 92106
Cost: $72 - $84
In this course, students will address some of San Diego County’s most pressing community problems by developing a competitive grant proposal for a non-profit organization. Students will learn the golden rules of grant writing; common mistakes made by inexperienced grant writers; and key components of grant proposals, including how to write the program description, evaluation, budget and sustainability sections. Also discuss how to identify and develop a relationship with grant funders. Finally, students will have the opportunity to review and vet a live grant proposal.
