The Laramie Project & The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later
6863 Friars Road Suite 100, San Diego, 92108
Cost: $30
Both The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later, will be performed on various dates by the Universal Spirit Center Ensemble.
Written by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project, The Laramie Project chronicles the aftermath of the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming, through interviews with community members. The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later revisits the town a decade later, exploring how the community—and the national conversation—has evolved.
Together, these two productions offer audiences a rare opportunity to witness both the immediate impact of tragedy and the long arc of reflection, healing, and continued dialogue.
Directed by Julian Diaz.
