Strong dialogue accomplishes more than one thing, going beyond merely conveying information. Literary conversations serve several purposes – they can reveal characters, set the scene, advance the plot, create tension, establish mood, etc. In this two-hour workshop, use prompts that focus on writing realistic, convincing dialogue. This is a program for all level writers focused on fiction or nonfiction, whether you’re just getting started or are interested in exercises to advance a current WIP.
