Family Discovery Walk: Insects

Join MTRP Trail Guides to learn about some of the fascinating insects and spiders that live in Mission Trails. Examine some of the insects up close. Have fun completing a nature journal while on the walk and get a nature sticker afterwards. This free adventure is ideal for families with children ages 5–12 years, but all ages are welcome. Meet at the Kumeyaay Lake Campground shade structure (near the east restrooms). Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining.
