Stars at West Sycamore
Join members from the San Diego Astronomy Association at the West Sycamore Staging Area to view the nighttime sky through telescopes at West Sycamore. Crescent moon is below Leo and sets about midnight. We have a nice night with the summer constellations. Identify the bright Summer Triangle and split the famous Double Double in Lyra. You will see red Antares - Rival of Mars and Heart of the Scorpion - as Scorpius rises in the South East. Enjoy the colors of double star Alberio.
