2nd Annual Barrio Logan Verano Art Festival
The 2nd Annual Barrio Logan Verano Art Festival returns as a bold and immersive celebration of culture, creativity, and community in the heart of the Barrio Logan Cultural Arts District. Set along historic Logan Avenue, this free, all-ages event brings together a curated blend of art, music, lowrider culture, and local entrepreneurship, creating an experience that reflects the spirit and identity of one of San Diego’s most culturally rich neighborhoods.
Building on the foundation of its inaugural year, the 2026 edition expands its footprint and deepens its connection to the community by intentionally incorporating more local artisans, makers, and storefronts. This year, every corner of the district becomes part of the experience, with businesses, galleries, and creative spaces activating alongside the festival to create a fully integrated cultural walk. Attendees are invited to explore not just a market, but a living, breathing ecosystem of art and expression that extends beyond vendor booths and into the very fabric of Barrio Logan.
The festival will feature a dynamic lineup of over 50 shops and vendors offering handmade goods, vintage finds, original artwork, and culturally inspired products. Live art demonstrations, curated music selections, and a beer garden will contribute to a vibrant atmosphere that blends tradition with contemporary creative energy. Classic lowriders and visual elements rooted in Chicano art and design serve as both backdrop and centerpiece, honoring a legacy that continues to influence generations.
A special highlight of this year’s festival is the introduction of “Libros y Sonido,” a dedicated space celebrating Chicano authors, independent bookstores, and literary culture.
