Color of Silence Opening Reception
Space 4 Art presents The Color of Silence, a group exhibition curated by Francisco Eme. The exhibition opens with a public reception and live performances and will remain on view through July 1, 2026. Additional live performances by local musicians and noise artists will take place on Friday, June 20, activating the exhibition through sound-based interventions and experimental performance.
The Color of Silence explores the complex interplay between silence, noise, emptiness, and saturation. Through monochromatic and dark visual languages alongside more strident sonic elements, the exhibition examines how silence can be perceived visually through subtle relationships between color and tone, space and non-space, absence and presence, and movement and stillness.
