Campfire Program: Predator-Prey Relationships
Join MTRP Park Ranger Brandon Botticelli for a campfire program at the scenic Lake Amphitheater in Kumeyaay Lake Campground. Join in singing some familiar songs as the campfire flames begin to flicker and cast a glow over the area. Trail Guide Robin Johnson-Drogo will then present a program on predatory-prey relationships. Learn the fascinating interactions between roadrunners and rattlesnakes, the antlion and ant, and more. Nature always inspires!
This program is free with no reservations required. Please park in the dirt lot at the corner of Father Junipero Serra Trail and Bushy Hill Dr. across from the campground. Walk into the campground and follow the road past the entry station around to the short Lake Amphitheater trail at campsite #10. Mosquitoes are likely so take precautions.
