She Kills Monsters is a comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and ’90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all. Nguyen intentionally wrote the characters in a way that allowed for actors of any race to be cast into every role, stating "We wanted to see the diversity you would find on the New York subway onstage." This production uses strobe lights, fog machines and red lights. It contains adult themes, language and mild violence.
