The Kreepy Crossing: Kreepy Cuddles Art Treasure Hunt & Live Character Reveal
Eleven creatures have crossed over into the Gaslamp — and eleven original artworks by dark surrealist artist Gus Fink mark the spots. During this free treasure hunt, photo clues drop every 20 minutes on Fink's Instagram and TikTok (@gusfink) starting at 4 PM, each one leading to a one-of-a-kind original sketch hidden at a historic Gaslamp landmark, from San Diego's most haunted house to the gas lamps that named the district. Finders keep the art — Fink, whose Kreepy Cuddles character line is sold at Hot Topic, Spencer's, and Spirit Halloween, doesn't normally sell his originals. All afternoon, Fink paints live on 5th Avenue between F and G Streets; at 8 PM, as the sun sets and the gas lamps come on, he reveals a brand-new character created live that evening. Plus: a $500 giveaway and 100 free Comic-Con-exclusive collectibles while supplies last. Free and open to all ages; no Comic-Con badge required.
