History Explorer: Julian Gold Rush

At this month’s History Explorers, kids can uncover the story of the Julian Gold Rush, handle real artifacts, and enjoy hands-on “gold panning” activities. They’ll also learn about historical figures such as America Newton, the inspiring pioneer who helped found the town of Julian.
History Explorers is our monthly family program that invites kids to dive into the past through free, hands-on activities and the chance to examine historical objects up close.
Families can drop in anytime between 11:00 am–2:00 pm.
