Family Discovery Walk: Sensing Nature

Join MTRP Trail Guides to explore nature using all your senses—not just with your eyes, but also your ears, nose, and hands. Discover how this enhances your enjoyment of nature. Have fun completing a nature journal while on the walk and get a nature sticker afterwards. This FREE adventure is ideal for families with children ages 5–12 years, but all ages are welcome. Meet at the Kumeyaay Lake Campground shade structure (near the east restrooms). Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining.
