The third-annual Punches in the Piazza amateur boxing showcase, which was created in 2023 to honor the legacy of Hall of Fame boxing promoter and famed Filippi's Pizza Grotto restauranteur, Bobby DePhilippis, will take place this Friday, Sept. 12 back at its original home in the heart of the famed Piazza dellaa Famiglia in Little Italy.
Sanctioned by USA Boxing and presented by Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, Punches in the Piazza will consist of 12 three-round bouts featuring some of Southern California’s top amateur boxers.
